If the MS Bell can travel 23 nm/hour, or 23 knots. How long will it take to get the electronics to its final port?  Show and explain your answer.  Be sure to label your work. 


 

2.  Ahead of the TS Kennedy was a car carrier, the MS Pickering, traveling at a rate of 22 nm/hour, or 22 knots.   The MS Pickering was traveling 442 miles from port to port with new Hondas. How long will it take for the ship to reach its final port?  Show and explain your answer.  Be sure to label your work. 

 

3.  Behind the TS Kennedy was the MS Bradford, a cargo ship carrying sporting equipment.   The distance from port to port is approximately 11,040 nautical miles. The MS Bradford was scheduled to make the trip in 460 hours, approximately 19 days.
