What I will miss most about being a cadet:
I will miss learning about the industry. The school has provided us cadets with a wealth of information and I can't wait to use it
Most challenging part of preparing for and passing the Coast Guard exams:
Time management and studying. I made the decision to not go home for 5 weeks prior to exams in order to pass. It was all worth it in the end.
Your secret to making it through all four years at MMA and reaching graduation:
Take every leadership opportunity that you can. The Academy has a robust leadership program and I equate my successes to that program.
Best advice that your parents gave you about succeeding at MMA:
At welcome aboard my father told me that it would be a good idea to get involved in the leadership at MMA. Just four short years later, and I am serving as the Regimental Training Ship Commander.
Best advice that you have for a cadet starting out at MMA:
Time at MMA flies by. Make sure that you enjoy the little things, like chicken patty Tuesday.

Forward of the house, port side next to 2 hold hatch cover. A great spot to sit and enjoy the ocean around you.

Sunday At Sea provides us with a great meal while outside on the helo deck

Most challenging responsibility on the Bridge (for MTRA majors):
The most challenging thing would have to be when you are assigned COW. Cadet Officer of the Watch is a culmination of everything i have learned during my time here at MMA.
