Today was a day of mixed emotions. I was happy to be returning to the US and see my family. But I was also sad that this was our last day in such a beautiful country.
We said goodbye to our tour guide Alvaro and our driver Luis who we had gotten to know very well during our two weeks in Costa Rica. My favorite moment of the day was when we were saying our goodbyes and Al said to all of us that we had set a good example for our school and country as a whole to the people we met.
