Today, sadly has been our last day here in Costa Rica. It’s been an amazing experience and we have all learned so many interesting facts about renewable energies!
We’ve had the honor to tour rocket companies, dams, solar farms, wind turbines, and today we got the opportunity to tour a train station.
This morning we climbed into the clouds and visited one of Costa Rica’s tallest volcanoes. Surrounded by the atmosphere we looked down into the giant craters made millions of years ago. We learned that Costa Rica and the other Central American countries were formed from volcanoes and is known as the natural bridge of the continents, connecting North and South America. We all took a few rocks as souvenirs and descended back down from the top of the planet and back to San Jose.
We got a quick tour of the city from our amazing tour guide Al and got to see the original parts of the city along with some of the different culture.
he past two weeks have flown by and I’ve been happy to come along for the ride. Until we meet again, Costa Rica!
