As last week came to a close, we started the new week off at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
It was a nice change of scenery, in comparison to our usual work week routine of Eustis, Florida. We rode the rides and stood in lines that couldn’t move fast enough. I was left wanting a little something more. It wasn’t to skip the lines or never go home. It was to be back at the job site continuing construction on the house.
I have deeply enjoyed my time her in Florida and I am thankful that I have another week to continue to make a difference. Doing things for other people will give you a feeling that surpasses anything else on the planet. This Florida experience has shown me the strength of the bond that I have with the people that I go to school with. Massachusetts Maritime Academy has given me the ability to create friendships, laugh harder and smile more with people who are incredible.
